Age Limit:- The age of the candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer should not less than 20 years and should not more than 26 years. The age of the candidate should be as on 1^st January 2017. i.e. born from 2^nd January 1991 t 1^st January 1997.

Qualification:- candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer should have post – graduation degree in any science stream / mathematics / statistics / geography / computer applications / environment science / applied physics / Oceanography / Meteorology / agricultural meteorology / ecology and environment / geo – Physics / Environment biology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided math and physics were studies at graduation level with minimum of 55% marks in both.

Selection Procedure:- Selection of the candidates applying for the position of commissioned officer will be on the basis of short – listed candidates / intelligence Examination / Psychological examination / group examination and Personal Interview depending on the number of applications received.
